Aco Smartcare Handheld Wireless Ultrasound – On-Duty Training
Aco Smartcare Handheld Wireless Ultrasound – On-Duty Training
Handheld Wireless Ultrasound acts as the third eye of physicians. In order to improve the quality of pre-hospital emergency care,
the #Changhua County Fire Bureau has 12 divisions with portable ultrasound devices.
#Show Chwan Hospital Medical System fully supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities required by paramedics.
Four workshops on paramedic ultrasound training were held at Show Chwan IRCAD Surgery Center, training a total of 56 advanced paramedics using Apache Ultrasound.

Emergency Care and POCUS Handheld Ultrasound Medical Education
Dr. Chia-Ching Chen, the Director of the Ultrasound Program at Show Chwan IRCAD Surgery Center,
stated that in the early days, portable ultrasound devices were mainly used in military medicine.
Due to their convenience, lack of spatial limitations, and image quality comparable to floor models, coupled with the assistance of artificial intelligence,
they have gained increasing acceptance in the medical field.
As a result, more healthcare facilities have started using portable ultrasound devices and implment it into their daily workflows.
In 2018, Huang Ming-He, the President of Show Chwan Medical System, introduced portable ultrasound devices to cater to underserved populations in remote areas.
This allows physicians to carry the devices with them wherever they go, providing assistance to patients who have challenges in commuting to the hospitals for diagnosis and treatment.

Wireless Handheld Ultrasound Medical Education
Dr. Chia-Ching Chen emphasized that paramedics utilizing ultrasound in pre-hospital settings can achieve four crucial tasks: “Early Diagnosis and Treatment Guidance,” “Rapid Decision Support,” “Optimization of Emergency Care Processes,” and “Improvement of Patient Treatment Outcomes.”
This highlights the vital role of pre-hospital ultrasound in the field of Emergency Medicine.
“Early Diagnosis and Treatment Guidance” – It can be used to identify internal injuries, thoracoabdominal bleeding, cardiac conditions, respiratory issues, and more,
thereby aiding physicians in making more accurate diagnoses and guiding appropriate treatment measures.
“Rapid Decision Support” – Pre-hospital ultrasound offers crucial information to emergency responders, enabling them to make decisions in critical situations.
For instance, it can be utilized in the diagnosis and implementation of needle decompression for tension pneumothorax.
“Optimization of Emergency Care Processes” – This assists in optimizing resource allocation within the emergency medical team, ensuring that patients receive timely and appropriate treatment. Furthermore, the use of pre-hospital ultrasound allows for better planning of patient transportation, selecting the most suitable medical facility to enhance patient survival rates.
“Improvement of Patient Treatment Outcomes” – Through rapid and accurate pre-hospital ultrasound examinations, the patient’s condition and needs can be identified earlier, thereby facilitating more timely and effective treatment. This helps reduce treatment delays and the occurrence of complications, ultimately improving patient survival rates and chances of recovery.
Apache – Multifunctional and multi-purpose Wireless Ultrasound System
Apache Wireless Handheld Ultrasound is compatible with both tablets or mobile phones.
It’s not only lightweight and portable with long-lasting power, but also has extremely high image clarity and features such as dust and water resistance.
The device comes with a mobile charging cradle, allowing it to be charged at any time without having to worry about power issues,
making it ideal for the use in environments with limited power sources and inconvenient transportation.
Apache handheld ultrasound has played an important role in high-altitude medical rescue, enabling medical personnel to diagnose and treat rapdily in the front-line,
providing the BEST support for medical care in high-altitude environments.
