Intended Audience 

This ultrasound system is intended for healthcare professionals who operate and maintain the product.
Familiarity with ultrasound techniques is a must to use this device.
This section does not include sonography training or clinical procedures.

Indications For Use

The Apache Ultrasound System is a portable ultrasound system intended for use in environments where healthcare is provided by trained healthcare professionals. The, Gynecological, Fetal Echo, Apache Ultrasound System is intended for diagnostic ultrasound imaging in the following applications: Abdominal, Fetal/Obstetric Musculo-skeletal (conventional and superficial), Small Organ (including breast, scrotum, thyroid), Peripheral Vessel, Carotid, Urology, and Pediatric. The system provides diagnostic ultrasound imaging in B, Color Doppler, M, PW, and Power modes. 

About the Probe

Light Indicators

  • Fast blinking green: waiting for connection
  • Solid green: device connected
  • Slow blinking green: system booting up
  • Solid yellow: system abnormality

Turning the Probe On/Off

  • To turn on the device: press the power button on the probe. A blinking green light indicates the device is on and waiting to be connected. 
  • To turn off the device: press and hold the power button until the power light is off. 

Charging the Probe

C62 / L154 :

  • To charge the probe, put the probe vertically into the cradle. Check for the blinking white light turn into a solid white light meaning charging is complete. 
  • The charging cradle can be a power bank without connecting to the adapter. 

neo Series :

  • Plug the type-C cord to the probe type-C charging port. You will see the lights
    blinking white on the probe. Please always adopt the charger which is IEC
    60601-1 certified. The requirement of the charger is DC 5V/3A output, USB
    Type C connector.

Charging Status Indicator:

  • Blinking White: charging, battery capacity is above 20%
  • Blinking amber: charging, battery capacity is below 20%
  • Solid White: charging is complete
  • Blink 2 sec Amber: battery capacity is low
  • Blink white-Amber: battery abnormality

Aco Smartcare App Registration:

  • App Installation for Aco Smartcare is available on iOS & Android.  

Delete an Account:

Aco Smartcare Ultrasound requires users to have an account, and for those who store images, videos, and other data information in their exam lists, Aco Smartcare provides the option for users to remove accounts by contacting Service Team to submit a formal request for removal.

App: Latest Apache version

App Installation: 

Download “Apache Software App” via Apple Store or Google Play Store.

App Registration Steps: 

  1. Read “Terms of use” and click agree to continue. 

2.For Android users, please allow “Apache” to access device’s location “While using the app” to continue.

Click “Create New Account” to start registration.

3. Submit information to create an account.

Please make sure the email address is a valid account.

4. Verification mail is sent to the emailed address.

5. by clicking the “link” received in the mail.

6. is complete after verifying email account. 

After logging in for the first time, a walk-through will be shown on the screen. 

Registration for Probe: 

Note: For first time registration, please make sure the probe has been charged on the cradle for suggested 1 hour before turn-on for the first time. 

  1. Hold down to the power button to turn the probe on. 

2. In the Probe List page, press “Add New Probe.” 

Please make sure the probe is ON, connected to the internet, and the LED green light of your probe is blinking repeatedly. 

3. Create your own organization by entering a name of your choice and press “Scan Probe” to complete the process of adding new probe. 

Name of the organization can be set as e.g.: Device Owner, Hospital/Clinic, or a department.

4. Scan QR code on the back of the probe

5. For iOS system, press “Join” for network connection.

Manually switch to a valid Wi-Fi network and press “Try again” to connect again

6.Probe information is listed on the screen. Please confirm the probe information and click create organization to complete this process.  

7. Registration is complete. Refresh the page to activate the probe for the first time. Choose a preset and press “Start Exam” to start the scan.

8. To check probe information, click the list icon on the upper left corner and choose “Help & About” for complete information. 

Reminder:

Meeting the minimum requirements for mobile devices is highly recommended.

Not meeting the requirements may result in low-quality images and connectivity issues.

Before Cleaning

  1. Check the probe before cleaning. Visually inspect the scanner if there are any obvious and unacceptable deterioration such as corrosion,
    discoloration, pitting, or cracked seals, do not proceed with cleaning.
    Please contact your sales representative.
  2. Turn off the probe, and keep it disconnected from the charger.
  3. Remove any remaining gel or drying of soil from the probe by using pre-moistened soft cloth
    or using running water and a gloved hand or a soft sponge.

Cleaning Procedures

Select cleaners and disinfectants for non-/semi-critical uses defined by Spaulding classifications,
and clean the probe using the following procedure:

  1. Turn off the probe, and keep it disconnected from the charger.
  2. Dampen a soft cloth with the selected cleaner.
  3. Use the soft cloth to clean the probe, starting from the tail part, wiping
    toward the scan head. Remove all gel and debris from the probe.
  4. Discard the cloth.
  5. If necessary, repeat the steps with new cleaning materials.
  6. Remove all residual organic materials, such as soil, and cleaning solution
    from the probe by rinsing, it under purified water.
    Confirm that all organic materials and cleaning solution have been completely removed.
    Do not reuse the purified water.
  7. Dry the surface of the transducer using clean, soft cloth or gauze.
    Do not use heat to dry the probe

Cleaners and Disinfectants for Non-Critical Uses

  • The materials listed in the table below are chemically compatible and have been tested for efficacy with the probe.
  • The products listed here can be used to clean and disinfect the probe.
    1. CaviWipes

Caution

  • Any tears or holes on the probe may result in improper cleaning of the probe.
  • Please contact with local sales representative if you have experienced any dropping of the probe system.
    The dropping might cause electrical shock, corrosive liquid leakage and injury.
